TEXTBOOK OF OTORHINOLARYNGOLOGY & HEAD AND NECK SURGERY

Otohinolaryngology & Head-and-Neck surgery has advanced tremendously over the past decade or two. Our teaching for the undergraduates has unfortunately not advanced similarly. Medical graduates will have a better perspective as to whether to choose Ent or not if they are exposed to what is happening in ENT and what is possible for them out of chossing ENT. With this view in mind. I have tried to incorporate what I feel a medical gratuate should know in ENT. This could also serve as a book for post-graduates when they enter the speciality.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my teachers and colleague in the Institute of Otorhinolaryngology, Madras Medical College where I trained. |A lot of my insight into ENT has been gaineed as I worked in various instituions such as M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Ministry of health, Sultanate of Oman, sst..john's National Academy of health science and sri Sidddhartha Medical college. I acknowlefge all my colleagues ans students  in these institutions. Thanks to stella S'souza for converting my squiggle into a manuscript.

Thanks are also due to my family, my husband Shinoo-an auther of several books jin managment- for supporting a non-computer savvy person like me and also giving me ideas throughout the writing of thr book., my children karik, sathya and manju for being an inspiration in all areas of my life.
